The Sound of Music Festival was amazing.
USS ripped my soul from my body, launched it into the ether, gave it acid and smoothies and sent it on its way back to my body via the Lifestream.
Tom Cochrane was great. For a 57 (?) year old, he knows how to own a stage. Encore was great. Lunatic Fringe is just so dark and gritty.
Also, Human Kebab + Ash = WIN+
The weekend at the Sound of Music wasn't just about the music though. Saw some people I haven't seen in forever. It was good times for sure. I met some interesting people, and am genuinely enjoying the new company.
I've decided to do a weekly "Top 5 Songs" dealy. It's like the songs I've been loving on over the course of the week. I'm gonna do the first one as part of this post, and starting next Tuesday, I'll post them as their own. Here goes!
5. Waking Up In Vegas - Katy Perry
4. Le Pop - Katezenjammer
3. Promenade (Live) - Street Sweeper Social Club
2. Such As It Ends - Ludo
1. The Rock Show - blink-182
#1 has some serious meaning. If you can decipher the title of the post, relate it to that song.
Here's a hint. The title is a person's name.
Talk to you soon, I promise.
